It’s a long sleeve day today in Rhode Island.  I’m not sure I’m prepared for this weather yet!

Goodbye summer.  I’ll miss your hot and humid days, your muggy nights, and sunny afternoons!

It’s not quite light jacket weather yet, which is good.  I hope it’s not too cold for Walter when he gets here.  He’s used to the hot, dry weather in the desert and all now.

WALTER IS COMING TO RHODE ISLAND!!!!  Every day I am more and more excited.  It feels more real the closer the day gets.  It’s not ‘if’, it’s ‘when’.  And ‘when’ is less than 3 weeks away.

Sarah put my nephew on the bus this morning for his very first day of kindergarten.  He’s so excited to be going to his new school, he loves making new friends.  He looked wicked cute in his Thomas & Friends hat and his Red Sox backpack.  We took a bunch of pictures, and he said “stop taking pictures of me!” before we even got outside.  After Sarah picked him up and kissed him, she put him down and he said “mommy, don’t do that again ok?”

I’m going to be putting him on the bus in the mornings because Sarah usually has to leave for work before the bus comes.

Eating has been hard the last couple of days, and I don’t normally give up when it comes to food.  The first time I got my tongue pierced I didn’t even feel it.  There was no bleeding, no swelling.  This time I almost passed out at the piercing parlor because there was a wee bit of blood.  It hurts a lot at the moment and I’m all out of Advil.

Also I think I’m more of a baby than I was 8 years ago when I first got it done.

I LOVE…  my new layout.

I LOVE…  that it’s a 3 day weekend!  It’s my third 3 day weekend in a month.  :D

I LOVE…  my mother.  She ain’t perfect, but she’s mine.  When she worked at the restaurant she used to make the best homefries in all the land.  I need to learn how to make those homefries.

I LOVE…  breakfast.  It’s my favorite meal of the day whether it’s cereal or corned beef hash, I love it!  If I eat a good breakfast I find I don’t feel hungry for most of the day.  I hardly ever eat breakfast though.

I LOVE…  Greek.  I’d take Cappie over Evan any day of the week.  *drool*

I LOVE…  writing letters to Walter.  They aren’t the most interesting things in the world I’m sure, but they’re little pieces of me for him to have while he’s far away.

I LOVE…  summertime.  I’m sad to see it going so quickly when it seems like it started so late.

I LOVE…  feeling like I’m accomplishing something because I’m finally crossing off things on my 101 in 1001 list (see top of blog below header for the link to view my list).

I LOVE…  Yankee Candle brand candles.  Right now my room smells like Macintosh apples.  It is glorious!

I LOVE…  Casting Crowns.  I’ve been listening to them for days.  I really need to find someone who has some of their CD’s so I can get me some more!  Four songs is definitely not enough.

I LOVE…  that today is Friday, because I really need a weekend I think.

I LOVE…  the weekends.

I LOVE…  apples.  I forgot how tasty they were (I stopped eating them for some dumb reason I don’t even remember… lolz).

I LOVE…  Cinch Spray.  It smells so good, like the cleanest of any clean smell in all the land.  I like to spray my desk with it at work, and then for some hours I can still smell it.  Look.  I know I’m weird.

I LOVE…  Walter’s smile.  I picture it all the time when I close my eyes.  Also if I’m not paying attention to what you’re saying I’m probably in La-La-Land thinking about him, bunny ears and all…

I LOVE…  carnations.  They’re my favorite flower.  In fact, I really don’t care much for most other flowers except lilacs, tulips, and roses.  But carnations are the best ever.

I LOVE…  listening to Wizard Rock and singing along with my windows rolled down, not caring who hears me (especially when I’m singing the chorus of Sonorous Love -  ♪ I’m in love!  I’m in love!  I’m in love with a girl named Hermione G! ♫).

I LOVE…  chocolate ice cream.  What, I’ve told you this already?  Too bad.  I tell you again right now!

I LOVE…  crisp cold water on a hot, sunny, summer day.

I LOVE… that I’m going to the mall with Christina this weekend.  We haven’t been shopping in a while, and I’m in dire need of some new books!  And girl time!
I LOVE… Atlas Shrugged.  Reading it always makes me feel powerful and smart, capable and honest.  I wish everyone in a position of power in the world had to read it as a prerequisite.

I LOVE… that I’m going back to Mississippi for a few days in June to spend more time with Walter before he leaves (even if he does have small pox).  :D
I LOVE… knitting.  I’m going to buy some more yarn this weekend I think, and knit like a fiend.
I LOVE… the smell of fresh cut grass mingled with the scent of spring soil wafting into my car when I see someone mowing their lawn.  There’s no candle scent to match it.
I LOVE… collecting silly avatars.

I LOVE… SUNSHINE and SUMMERTIME!
I LOVE… finding things in my cereal box.  So what if I’m 26, it’s still really fun!
I LOVE… waking up after a particularly good dream only to fall back asleep and keep dreaming where I left off or to re-dream the same thing.  *swoon*
I LOVE… that it’s Friday and I have a three-day weekend ahead of me with nothing planned.  I can make stuff up as I go along, and it’ll be awesome!
I LOVE… hugs.
