I LOVE…Fridays!

I LOVE…  feeling genuinely happy.  Lately I’ve been feeling down, often times like there is nothing to look forward to and I’ll never smile again.  Which is a lame feeling.  Today I feel happy.  I’d like to keep this up, please.

I LOVE…  that this week Christina uncovered Bible Fanfiction.  BIBLE FANFICTION.  Do you understand what that means?

I LOVE…  finally wearing pants that fit me.  I put it off for far too long, not wanting to acknowledge that I’d never fit into my size 3’s again.  I guess this means I’ve accepted that I’ll never be the size of a 16 year old as long as I live.  And that’s good… right?

I LOVE…  that there are only 86 more days until my birthday.  ♥

I LOVE…  Pampered Chef!!!!  Lauren had a Pampered Chef party last night and I filled out an order form for some wicked awesome kitchenware goodies that I can’t wait to use!  Like the egg slicer.  And the food chopper.  And the green color coated knives.  (( Can you NOM cooking utensils?  Because I want to…. ))

I LOVE…  the Twilight Saga.  I finished reading Breaking Dawn (for the second time) last night and it was even better than the first time I read it.  Is it sick that I already want to read them again?  Right now?  I won’t.  I’ll wait at least until Breaking Dawn comes out in paperback and I can own it.  I’ll wait.  But I don’t want to.

I LOVE…  owning books.  I dislike borrowing books more than I dislike lending them out.  (( shudder ))  That’s a lot.  I like to own them and know they are mine.  What if I want to read it again?  (( No, I don’t have a library card – in case you were wondering.  I haven’t had one since I was 10 years old. ))

I LOVE…  GLEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Random Thoughts Today

“I gulped down my gillyweed jumped into the lake
Not knowing who the masters of the tournament would take
I dodged the merpeople and the grindylow
And saw three pretty girls there floating in a row
But it was freaking Ron Weasley who was waiting for me
She was the prize for Cedric Diggory”

- Dead Boy’s Girlfriend, Hank Green

So I’ve kind of not been around.  I didn’t intended on not blogging, but I’ve been kind of busy with other things over the last few days.  I started re-watching Lost from the beginning, but then I lost interest three episodes in because I don’t care how it all started anymore, I just want to see how it ends.  I love that show, but it has been a LONG six years.

I went to see Youth In Revolt, and it rocked.  Michael Cera made me laugh, and everyone in the movie was good.  I really want to read the book now, though.  I know what I’m spending my Barnes & Noble gift card on (you know, some time in the next century when I actually get to a B&N).

I need a new background for my blog.  I want to design something myself, but I’m uber lazy and interested in other things.  I’m playing FlyFF again, which is more fun when you actually have someone to play with (maybe I can convince Sarah to play with me) but it’s still fun.  I got so wrapped up in WoW (which I’ve cancelled my subscription for because I’m jobless and have no income) that I forgot how fun FlyFF can be.

It’s a free game, but I actually spent quite a bit of money on it in the past on getting stuff from the cash shop, so my char is wicked cute.

The excitement of Google Wave has kind of died, and that makes me sad.  I’m still excited to have it, but it seems like no one else is interested in using it anymore.  I’m hoping that will change when more people have it.

Got my hair cut this week.  New hair cut = old hair cut + bangs.

I feel so uninteresting at the moment, but I wanted to let you all know that I’m still here even though it’s been (an uncharacteristically long) four days.  Tomorrow will bring the usual ILF blog, and on Monday I’ll have a super awesome blog about my super awesome weekend at MC’s house watching all the Harry Potter movies (because I know you all care so deeply about my HP obsession).

What have you done this week?

The Mall {NaBloPoMo 20}

I went to the mall yesterday!  Huzzah for shopping!

I love shopping at Providence Place Mall.  It feels like it’s mine so much more than the Crystal Mall does.  I love the way it feels to walk in, like the possibilities are endless.  It feels almost magical, really.

I may have started blogging this on a notepad outside Godiva and gotten caught by Christina as she and Scott were walking up to me (read: I totally did).  She may have said “Are you blogging?” (read: first words out of her mouth).

I would like to share an observation with you.  It appears that every time we go to the mall, Christina dresses up and I dress down.  We must look like a weird pair.  Yesterday I actually wore jeans though (I usually wear comfy pants with my large t-shirt).  Christina?  Always looks cute.  Me?  Most of the time I look like a hot mess.  But ask me if I care.  Go ahead.

Im a hot mess in yesterdays everything!

I'm a hot mess in yesterday's everything!

I only spent money in three stores.  And Ben & Jerry’s.  I got two really cute hoodies at Aéropostale, a cute dress from NY & Co., and 5 books at Borders.  I only spent about TWO hours at Borders.  DO YOU KNOW HOW FANTASTIC THAT IS?!!!  The only reason I left is because it was getting dark, and I was still carrying all my bags (I usually make a trip to my car to drop everything off before hitting up any bookstore).  I didn’t buy ANY movies, and even bought a cute couple of necklaces at NY & Co.  They were on sale.  :D  Plus I only had to pay $7 for parking!  This was seriously a red letter shopping day.  I didn’t spend half as much as I usually do on merchandise OR parking.

Then I got lost in Providence because the Cityside exit from the parking garage was closed off *FIST* and I had to exit Stateside.  Gross!  This makes the second time leaving Stateside ever.  Third time total getting lost on the way home from the mall.

Let’s not get into that, though.

I would like to say, on my behalf, that for a girl with absolutely NO sense of direction…. I’ve done pretty OK thus far in life.  *knock on wood*

How is everyone’s weekend going?
Did you do anything exciting yesterday?
Anything worth noting?
What’s going on today?

S.-A.-T.U.R.-D.A.Y.

Helloooooooooooooooooo bloggers and blogreaders and all of blogland!

I don’t usually blog on Saturdays, but I’m feeling good and I want to share it with the blogosphere!

The sun is shining and it’s a beautiful day!

I’m going shopping today.  SHOPPING!  With Alli.  And possibly Christina who, as of 0830, wasn’t feeling all that good but we’ll see later on.

Alli is hanging out with me today.  ALLI.  In a public place.  It’s going to be so fun!!!!!!  Alli and I haven’t hung out in a while (last Friday when I was sick doesn’t count LOL).  She’s so much fun.  I really can’t wait!  I miss hanging out with her.  Not living with her.  Hanging out with her.

I’m thinking Fire & Ice for lunch.  I don’t think she’s ever been there.  We’ll see.  I can’t remember if, last time she came to the mall with Christina and I, we went to Fire & Ice.  She should like it.  It’s build your own stir fry.  It’s gooooooooood.

Tomorrow is Robert’s 18th birthday.

MY BABY BROTHER IS GOING TO BE 18.

No, I don’t feel old.  Far from it!  I feel proud.  He’s graduating high school, getting his license, and turning 18.  And he WANTS to go to college.  For business.  My baby brother!!!!!

********************

So I’m chilling out in my room (yeah, I said chilling!) listening to country music and singing all loud-like in my incredibly nasaly post-Flu voice.  THAT’S how good I feel: I don’t care if anyone hears how terrible I sound.  :D

I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend!!!!!!  ♥

Attack Of The Flu

So yeah.  Thursday night I didn’t sleep like AT ALL, and yesterday I left work after an hour and a half because I was feeling like complete crud.

I went to Alli’s and we ended up going to the ER ’cause my doctor’s office was closed.

They told me I was dehydrated and had The Flu.

The Flu.  In May.  In MID-MAY.

LAAAAAAME.

Anyhow, they DIDN’T give me an IV for my dehydration or prescribe me any medication.  I had to pay $100 for THAT?

Why is it that there’s no cure for The Flu?  Or The Common Cold?  They’re like the oldest viral diseases known to man, and there’s no cure.

WTF.

So no mall for me this weekend.  What crap.  I really wanted to buy some new t-shirts and underwear and books.  And Christina is going without me.  I’m in hate with The Flu.  Like, seriously, in hate.  I have to spend my three day weekend in bed.  SICK.  IN EFFING BED.

Now, excuse me while I go chug some TheraFlu so I can sleep for the next 6 hours.

There weren’t even any new TV shows to watch this week.  BLAH.

*groan*

*stomp*

I LOVE…Fridays

ilovefridaysnew

I LOVE… that I’m going to the mall with Christina this weekend.  We haven’t been shopping in a while, and I’m in dire need of some new books!  And girl time!
I LOVE…
Atlas Shrugged.  Reading it always makes me feel powerful and smart, capable and honest.  I wish everyone in a position of power in the world had to read it as a prerequisite.

I LOVE… that I’m going back to Mississippi for a few days in June to spend more time with Walter before he leaves (even if he does have small pox).  :D
I LOVE…
knitting.  I’m going to buy some more yarn this weekend I think, and knit like a fiend.
I LOVE…
the smell of fresh cut grass mingled with the scent of spring soil wafting into my car when I see someone mowing their lawn.  There’s no candle scent to match it.
I LOVE…
collecting silly avatars.

I LOVE… SUNSHINE and SUMMERTIME!
I LOVE…
finding things in my cereal box.  So what if I’m 26, it’s still really fun!
I LOVE…
waking up after a particularly good dream only to fall back asleep and keep dreaming where I left off or to re-dream the same thing.  *swoon*
I LOVE… that it’s Friday and I have a three-day weekend ahead of me with nothing planned.  I can make stuff up as I go along, and it’ll be awesome!
I LOVE…
hugs.

I LOVE… everyone who comments on my blogs.  SO LEAVE ME COMMENTS!!!  It’s Friday, tell me what YOU love!

Hellooooo Blogland!

I feel amazing today.  I really do!

I slept in a little bit, went to visit my cousin Crystal for about an hour before work, we figured out how to view picture messages on my cell phone (FINALLY!!!!), and I’m wearing a really cute short sleeved turtleneck-type sweater today.

Go me!

When I went out to clean off my car this morning the snow almost came all the way up to my knees.  Yeah, I don’t got snow boots either so my pants were soaked cold through to my skin, as were my socks.  Landlord doesn’t know how to plow, and needs to not be so lazy.  If I have the energy when I get out of work I’m going to shovel the driveway.

That’s a big IF!

I forgot to make lunch before I left the house but I was in a rush to get to Crystal’s and I’ll just go out to get Subway later on.  I could really go for a BLT!

Mike isn’t in the office today (blah).  And at Stop & Shop they don’t have the small boxes of Stouffer’s macaroni and cheese anymore!  All they have is the bigger ones, and just because I can eat it all doesn’t mean I should.

Also looking forward to playing Nerf wars with my office mates sometime late this afternoon.

Let’s see… what else?

Oh!  I had a kick ass weekend.  :]  I was all snowed in yesterday and I didn’t make it to work, but the weekend itself was awesome!

On Saturday I went to the movies.  All by myself!  I saw The Reader, which was freaking excellent by the way, and cried.  All by myself.  In the movie theater all by myself.  I felt like such a big girl!  Maybe next time I’ll get a soda!  Then I went to Alli’s new house.  Eh.  It’s better than their last apartment but I wouldn’t want to live there.  I probably won’t go over there again either.  I feel wicked uncomfortable there, and out of place.

I played FlyFF literally all day on Sunday.  There was a 2x exp event going on and went up a few levels.  Yay!  And I played all day yesterday, too.  It was good.

mC is sleeping over next weekend.  We’re going to do girly things and be girly together.  We don’t have to play anything ’cause no matter what we do we have a blast.

Yeah, so that’s about it.  I’m in an awesome mood.  I feel incredible.  I look cute.  My birthday is in 76 days, and I love my job!  I hope everyone else is having a good week too!!!!  :D

Boobs, Breakfast, And Not A Real Porno

I saw boobs.  Real boobs.  In person.  And they weren’t even mine or Alli’s!

This weekend was pretty freakin’ awesome.  Sean and I left for Massachusetts on Friday after work to spend the weekend with mC and Scott.  When we arrived Scott was cleaning the guest room in his underwear so we couldn’t go upstairs yet, but when his clothes dried we all went out to Uno for a late dinner.

Pizza skins.  Om nom nom nom nom.

Then we went back to mC and Scott’s house and hit the sack.

Zzzzzz.

Saturday was an adventure.  We went to breakfast and Sean ruined my homefries with his french toast butter so I had to eat mC’s, it was tasty.  They fill your plates so high there!  None of us finished EVERYTHING on our plates because there was just.that. much., but we put a good sized dent into the mountain of food.

Then mC and I went shopping while the boys bonded.  I only spent $30.00 on myself. Isn’t that incredible?!  I mean… we went to Borders and I didn’t eve buy a single book!!!!!  I bought some stocking stuffers for Sean’s stocking and part of his Christmas gift.  I got myself two pajama sets, a mini plastic organizer for my bathroom sink, and a pin that says ‘I’m So Blogging About This‘ that mC found it at Hot Topic and I had to have.

I’m wicked excited about what I got Sean for Christmas.  I’m only buying for a couple people this year (for real this time) and my dad said not to buy him anything big like I usually do so I’m spending most of my money on Sean and my nephew John.

OK, after the mall mC and I went to Coldstone for ice cream.  Nom nom nom.  Then we went home and Scott was just about done baking the ham I’ve heard so much about in the last three years.  It was good.  He made some good applesauce too (it was way better than mine LOL).

After dinner we played a drinking game.  Kings, or something like that.  I dunno, I lost.  I just drank water anyway lol.

It was after the drinking games that the fun began.

When I say real fun, I mean REAL FUN.  There were boobs.  Lots of them.  We went to a STRIP CLUB!  A full nude strip club.

I was a strip club virgin.  I never saw boobs before that weren’t mine or Alli’s.  It was exciting!!!

OK I was real nervous at first.  But the scantily clad women were so nice to me.  And there were naked women everywhere, and mirrors all over all the walls so no matter where I looked I saw T&A.  Courtni would be so proud of me not running out of there.  I mean I didn’t want to run, but I was blushing the entire time.  I was blushing so much it made the dancers laugh at me (all in good fun, I hope).

They were all really nice.  And wicked pretty (except for that one girl *shudder*).

It turns out that I love having naked women crawling in my lap.  Who knew?!  I got FOUR lap dances.  Count ‘em: one, two, three, four.  Four lap dances all for me.  I didn’t even care that Sean got four too, because I had such a good time!

Then on Sunday we went out for breakfast and then Sean and I left for home.  We went to see Zack And Miri Make A Porno, and it was hilarious.  It’s not a real porno, but there’s a lot of nakedness and porn making in it and it’s a love story too.  I will buy it on DVD when it comes out.  Definitely go see it, but not with your parents.

That would be bad.
