Life Under Construction

Hello my bloggity-bloggy pals.  I’ve missed you!  Gosh, I feel like I haven’t blogged in a week.

Also I just said ‘gosh’.  That’s right!

I have nothing big to say today, so you’re getting all my random thoughts I’ve been saving up instead.  You know those little blips of genius you absolutely need to share but individually they don’t make up complete blogs all on their own?

I am only working three days this week, Tues-Thurs.  So, if you really think about it, today is my Monday.  That would make tomorrow my Thursday, and Thursday my Friday…  so I TOTALLY get to skip right over having a Tuesday at work this week.  Rock on!

I love to color.  I wish people wouldn’t think I was strange if I carried my crayons everywhere I went.  Doodling is way more fun if you do it with crayons!

I posted a guest blog on How Rude Are You? Um… go read it.  It probably applies to you or someone you know.
I was going to start eating healthy this week, but I’m too lazy to cut up the vegetables and melon ball the watermelon we got at the grocery store yesterday.  I’ll bring grapes to work with my s’mores pop tart and my chocolate pudding.

I bought hexachordal’s (Tom Milsom) new album this weekend in NYC, he’s super cute and totally my type (read: younger than me).  Speaking of which, my NYC blog will come later this week (i.e. I am too lazy to do it now) so stay tuned for that.  But for now, watch this video that I took.  Because he’s adorable.  He’s also super quiet so you’ll have to turn your speakers up.

Want some exciting news?  Walter is coming to see me for two weeks in September instead of January!  I was going to take this whole week off, but I’m saving the rest of my vacation days until he gets here so I won’t have to work for those two weeks, and I’m just taking Monday and Friday off this week.  Seriously?  100% Walter 100% of the time = WIN FOR ME!  I can’t wait for September!

I realized this weekend that I need new sneakers.  My feet STILL hurt from walking around NYC.  Ugh.  Stupid sneakers.  I don’t even think they’re that old, either.  I hate shoe shopping.  Call me ungirlie or whatever, shopping for shoes is a total drag.  I can never find shoes that fit in the adult section.  DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT’S LIKE?!!1!
