Neurotic Ramblings

Seriously.  I don’t know what it is with me and the weather lately, but it affects my day.  It was 66 degrees this morning, just perfect.  I knew it would be a good day. 

Kids dropped off on time and not whining – check
Good music on the radio this morning – check
Lots of traffic but I didn’t notice it – double check

I got to work with time to spare which hasn’t been the case lately.  It was especially nice since I’m wearing heels and I have to walk slow in the parking lot so as to not fall in to one of the gazillion potholes.  There’s something about wearing heels that just makes me feel pretty.  I’ve been wearing flats lately because I have to run around all day and then go to school and the five extra inches were killing me.  I love ballet flats, but nothing beats the feeling of strutting in heels.

I just got back from lunch with a friend…she’s a relatively new friend and a very close cousin of my most recent ex, so I thought it was weird at first, but we have a lot in common and she’s not one of those fake bitches so add that to another good thing about today.

Oh, and that meeting I mentioned above…well, the CEO is this little Syngaporian man.  He has a flaring temper and is known to yell expletives at people during meetings and chew heads off to spit them out at the next person.  My boss is a coward and won’t talk unless he has to which means he throws me into the fire each and every time.  Lovely, huh?  Well, the meeting got cancelled!  YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should be able to stop by Cricket today and get the wireless internet I wanted so that’s another plus. 

I get to go eat cake in about five minutes…woohoo!

I think the only thing that could make this day better is meeting a really hot guy…a single one anyway.
