i am thankful for the inbetween moments which make the bigger moments more powerful.

i am grateful for the silences between the songs.

i am thankful for being allowed to curse at hockey games, watching SYTUCD with my kiddos enthralled, sharing silliness and serious moments, too.

mostly, i am beyond grateful for having kiddos and friends who totally get it. and me. i am crying happy tears to think of how grateful i am to just be able to love and be loved in return.

I am thankful for all the people in my life that love me.

I am thankful for friendship, for the friendships I have maintained through many many years and issues, to the friendships I am making as an adult, be they friends I see in person on a regular basis, or those I have never met who give me place to voice my opinions, worries and everything in between without judgement.

I am thankful for a job I love, and for the fact that I get along with everyone in my very small office.

I am thankful for the fact people actualy seem to listen when I have something important to say.

I am thankful that I have known love and heartbreak and betrayal, but have still maintained my ability to have faith in people.

*The ever-cheesy but true; I am thankful for you; your take on the world and your words have meant a lot to me in the past year. You're one of those people that make me want to be a better person; even when I'm failing miserably.

*I'm thankful that my son has rubber bones because, DAMN! He's got falling and smacking his head down to a science. Somehow he walks out the other end of the incident smarter than when he dove in.

*I'm thankful for good news in unexpected places. Hell, I'm surviving on good news from unexpected places!

*I'm thankful for my husband; even when he drives me bananananananananas.
