#PBandTuna: Success

This weekend was amazing beyond words. If you weren’t there, let me try to convey the epicness. If you were there, let me jog your memory. If I miss anyone, just remind me in the comments.

Recessions, Friday Night:

Attending:

I got to Recessions around 7…About 3 hours into the drinking…I was greeted by “How’s your butt” concerns…because “what do you expect when you put that story on the internet.” There was:

much drinking, anticipation for karaoke, jailbreak with Mr. 5280, more drinking, dancing & breaking it down, Ebony & Ivory, tequila shots, war paint, eyeliner hearts on boobs, bloody face (I’m going with a bar fight story and that’s that), more dancing and more drinking, INTERVENTION, INTERVENTION!, karaoke, the girls singing…and by singing, I mean screaming like kindergardeners at a school assembly “I Want It That Way” by Backstreet Boys. Yes, we knew all the words. No, we are not ashamed.

The only thing I can say about this night was…My butt was basically molested a hundred and five times everytime I tried to make my way through the crowd. Otherwise…yeah. You had to be there.

The Rest of the Weekend:

Saturday morning, I got up and remembered that I had to pick Shine up from the airport…but to do that…I needed my car, which was sitting somewhere close to Recessions since the Boy took me home Friday night. Once I made it out of bed, and through the cold rain to my car, I was relieved that I had just beat the tow truck and the only damage done was a $50 ticket. Went back home, changed, and drove to BWI to pick up Shine…The rest of the day went like this: From BWI to Fairfax to pick up Mandy & Just A Girl…from Fairfax to Tyson’s to eat (at this point, it was 4 PM and I hadn’t eaten all day)…and from Tyson’s back to DC to get ready for #pbandtuna. The Boy came to pick us up and I drove us to the bar to meet everyone. After #pbandtuna, Mandy & Shine came back to my place for a snugglefest!
Highlights from Saturday:
“Parking is easy”
“NICE PARKA!”
“It reminds me of beef.”
“STOP SAYING EGGS!”
“The ring makes me feel like there should be a boxing match. Mandy & Just A Girl, start hitting each other.”
“Do your GPS voice.”
“Keep left.”
“Eff this ess.”
“Eff this game.” … “No, you mean eff this gee”
“Someone needs to be on panty duty tonight.”

On Sunday, the Boy, Mandy and I grabbed bagels & coffee, watched Kung Fu Panda and then we had to take her to the airport. Major Sad Face. I definitely pouted for a good hour. We were going to go shopping after but instead went home with some Chinese food to recover. I do have to give major props to my awesome boyfriend this weekend…He was a fucking saint and took care of me and my gingers Saturday night without complaining once.

Happy Awesome Birthday/Wedding to LiLu & Maxie…Only you girls can bring so many amazing people together in one place.
